Purpose
This page states what AI Freight Intel does, what it will not do, and what a reader can hold it to. It applies to every story we publish.
We publish it because most of the industry does not. If something on this page is not being honoured, tell us: agbexar@gigasphere.io.
Sourcing
- We prioritise primary sources — official filings, government records, regulatory dockets, court decisions, direct interviews, and published research — over news aggregation.
- We make the origin of information and data explicit. Where a claim comes from a secondary report, we say so and link to it.
- Significant claims are cross-checked against more than one source where more than one exists.
- We protect confidential sources. Anonymity is granted only where there is a real risk to the source, and the reason is characterised in the story.
- Plagiarism and fabrication are absolute prohibitions.
Confidence labelling
Every factual claim we publish carries an internal confidence level, and we surface it wherever the distinction affects how a reader should act on the information.

We never claim something is published, operational, verified, or confirmed without evidence. Where a number does not exist in any public source, we say that — we do not estimate one and present it as reporting. “We could not verify this” is a publishable sentence here, and we would rather print it than fill a gap.
Corrections
We will correct any error of fact, promptly and visibly.
- Corrections are appended at the foot of the affected story, identifying both the error and the correction, and dated. We do not silently edit a published claim.
- Material corrections are also noted in the following issue.
- Anyone may report an error: agbexar@gigasphere.io, subject line “Correction.” You do not need to be a source or a subject of the story.
- If we are wrong, we say we were wrong. We do not describe a correction as a clarification.
Quotes and pre-publication review
- Interviews are recorded and are on the record by default. We say so out loud at the start of every interview, before recording.
- A source who goes off the record stays off the record, permanently.
- A source may check their own quotes for accuracy before publication.
- We do not provide articles for pre-publication review or approval, to anyone, including advertisers, sponsors, and our parent company.
- A quote is exact or it is a paraphrase, and the story makes clear which.
Conflicts of interest
Ownership. AI Freight Intel is published by Giga-Sphere OS, LLC, which builds business-in-a-box software for the 1099 gig economy — including tools used by owner-operators and small fleets in trucking. This is disclosed in any story touching a competing or adjacent product, service, or company.
The editor's freight work. Our editor is an active 1099 owner-operator leased to BTX Express under FedEx Custom Critical authority. This is disclosed in any story where FedEx, BTX Express, or their contractor networks are a subject.
- Coverage decisions are not determined by customer, partner, prospect, vendor, sponsor, or competitive relationships.
- We do not conduct sales activity while holding media credentials at an industry event.
- Where a conflict cannot be adequately managed by disclosure, we do not run the story.
Gifts, travel, and hospitality
- We accept no gift with a value over $100 from any source, vendor, client, or subject of coverage.
- We accept no paid travel and no paid lodging from a company or organisation we cover.
- We accept no access conditioned on favourable coverage, and we disclose any attempt to condition it.
- Meals and refreshments provided to all attendees as part of a conference are not treated as gifts.
Advertising and sponsored content
- Sponsored content is clearly labelled “Sponsored,” visually distinct from editorial, and never carries an AI Freight Intel byline.
- We do not use euphemisms — not “partner content,” not “presented by” — in place of the word sponsored.
- Acceptance of advertising or sponsorship revenue does not constitute an implied or actual endorsement of a sponsor's products, services, or opinions.
- Sponsors do not see stories before publication, do not influence coverage decisions, and are neither protected from nor guaranteed coverage.
- Where a sponsor is a subject of a story, the sponsorship is disclosed within that story.
Our use of artificial intelligence
AI Freight Intel is an AI-assisted newsroom. Given what we cover, it would be absurd not to say so.
- AI tools assist with research, source discovery, drafting, and editing.
- A human verifies every factual claim against a primary source before publication, and takes responsibility for every published word.
- We do not publish AI-generated quotes, AI-generated sources, or AI-generated statistics. A claim that cannot be traced to a real document or a real person does not run.
- AI-generated or AI-manipulated imagery is labelled as such.
- Where AI assistance is material to how a story was found or reported, we say so in the story.
Independence
AI Freight Intel maintains full editorial independence from any external influence, including advertisers, donors, sponsors, underwriters, and its parent company. No person or organisation outside the editorial function has authority over what we publish.
